WHAT IS BE?
Is it a massage?
Is it stretching?
Is it a breathing technique?
It’s all of that—woven into one experience.
BE combines individual stretching and assisted stretching, supported by conscious, guided breathing. It includes moments of deep relaxation and integrates complementary techniques such as acupressure, reflexology, and body-point connections (for example, the relationship between shoulders and hips, or between the soles of the feet and the spine).
At its core, BE is about creating space in your body:
physical space. energetic space. emotional space.
Through deep, relaxed, mindful stretching, the body begins to open, release accumulated tension, and recover its natural capacity for expansion.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND BE
BE was developed after many years of working with—and researching through—my own body, experiencing firsthand the profound benefits of conscious lengthening and expansion.
We constantly accumulate tension. Muscles contract throughout the day as we move through changing emotional states. The back, shoulders, and hips become tight—especially after long hours of sitting. Even the weather can influence posture.
Without realizing it, we gradually limit our physical expression.

I am currently based in Boston, USA, where I teach regularly and travel internationally to perform, give workshops, and lead artistic residencies.
My approach integrates technique, body awareness, musicality, identity, roles, and emotional clarity.
I am the creator of the Open Role Tango Festival USA (2025), the first event in the country dedicated to celebrating tango roles beyond gender.
In 2019 I founded the Fernanda Ghi Dance Company, a multidisciplinary space where tango dialogues with theater, opera, contemporary dance, and visual arts.
